The Kurdish and Middle Eastern Women's Organisation (KMEWO) is looking for female volunteer fundraisers, advice and outreach workers and Publicity to support the delivery of its work with victims of domestic violence and the threat of honour killings.
We are looking for individuals that can work alongside a very enthusiastic and dynamic team of staff and volunteers who are driven by the desire to end all forms of violence against Kurdish and Middle Eastern women in the UK. Working with other groups it has made significant contributions to the political discussions and current thinking in these areas both in this Country and elsewhere in Europe.
If you have a few hours to spare each week and believe in the rights of women, then KMEWO would like to hear from you. Our contact details are as detailed below. You will of course be reimbursed for your travel expenses and will be given a daily meal allowance.
